Ivanyi to referee Sunday's home match with FTC

The experienced match official was recently in charge when Vidi won away at Ujpest this season

Videoton return to OTP league action on Sunday afternoon, with the visit of Budapest side Ferencvaros. Experienced referee, Zoltan Ivanyi will take charge of the game, with Vidi looking to carry on where they left off against Sporting Lisbon. Ivanyi made his first division debut back in 2006, in a match at the Sostoi stadium, between Videoton and Diosgyor, which resulted in a 2-0 win for the home side. He has gone on to officiate in several games involving Videoton since then. The most painful of those was the 1-0 defeat at Siofok, in what was a season opener in 2008. The most memorable was Vidi's win against Gyori ETO at ETO park in 2009. He was also the referee in our game at Debrecen, in the autumn of 2010. The match official refereed two of our Hungarian cup games last season, against Haladas and Honved. Zoltan Ivanyi will be assisted by Varga Zsolt and Márkus Tamás with the fourth official being Böcskei Balázs. His most recent match involving Videoton, was the earlier away win at Ujpest this season.
