Debrecen are in second place and three points behind league leaders Videoton FC.
Debrecen have won four of their six games to date this season, with the other two matches being drawn and lost. They have scored 18 and conceded 5 goals so far. The 13 points picked up means that they currently occupy second position, lying just behind Videoton. All of their wins have come on their home pitch, so just like Vidi, they also enjoy a 100% home record. If we look at those games, their goal difference is impressive with it being 16-2. Top goalscorers are Peter Szakaly and Volas Dalibor, who have both scored four each.
There was plenty of movement over the summer transfer window in Debrecen. The biggest name to leave was goalscorer Adamo Coulibaly, who moved to French side Lens. Peter Czvitkovics made the switch to the Puskas Academy, while former Ferencvaros forward Peter Poloskey headed south to Pecs. Luis Ramos also moved to French side Chateauroux, while Dajan Simacs headed to Turkey and Denzilsport. Hungarian international Jozsef Varga joined English championship side Middlesborough. Arrivals included Dusan Brkovics from Israeli side Hapoel Haifa, Christian Bud from FC Bihor, L'lmam Seydi arrived from Diosgyőr, and Dalibor Volas came from Mordovia.
