Istvan Vad will referee Sunday's match with Győr

Videoton take on Győri ETO at the Sostoi stadium at the weekend

Sunday's game will kick off at 16:45pm with Vidi looking to cement their current second place in the table. Experienced match official Istvan Vad will take charge of the OTP league game. Vad, who will turn 33 on the 30th May, took control of two league games during 2011. They were both against kecskemet, with the first being a 2-2 draw, while the second ended in a 2-0 defeat for Vidi.

Istvan Vad began playing football in his youth at Rakosmenti TK, moving on to Ferencvaros and then BVSC. He took his refereeing badge in 1995, and took control of youth games due to his young age. Vad made his first division debut in a match involving Sopron and Videoton in 2004. He has been a member of the FIFA group of officials since 2007, and took control of his first international game at the age of 27. He also ended up refereeing in the Champions league in October 2010, along with Viktor Kassai, after just three and a half years as a FIFA referee.
