Videoton were pulled out of the hat with Kaposvar on Thursday morning. The draw for the Hungarian cup semi-finals was made at the HQ of the Hungarian FA. The semi-finals will be a two-legged affair, with the first leg taking place at Kaposvar on the 20th April. The return leg will be two weeks later on the 3rd May. The other tie saw Kecskemet paired with ZTE, with the first lef taking place at Kecskemet. Vidi are due to play the other three sides left in the cup, in the Monicomp league over the spring season. This means that Gyorgy Mezey's side will come up against them three times.

Mezey : "Looking at the sides that remain in the draw, I would say that ZTE are the strongest, while Kecskemet are perhaps the most dangerous, while Kaposvar are the most organised and balanced of the trio. One slight advantage is that we came out of the hat with Kaposvar, rather than ZTE, which means that we will not have to travel too far. As I have said previously, our aim is to get into the final of the Hungarian cup, so we will doing our best to achieve this."

Balázs Farkas : "It did not make too much difference who we got in the last four, as the aim is to get into the final!"

Attila Polonkai : "There isn't really such a big difference in the sides that remain in the cup. ZTE, Kaposvar and Kecskemet are enjoying good form at the moment, and are capable of playing good football, so none of them will be easy opponents, although Kaposvar are perhaps the  most organised."
