How the manager's viewed the game

The two managers spoke after the season opener 1-1 draw

"Today's performance unfortunately mirrored the many problems that we have gone through lately. This included the bad timing of our defeat to Maribor, which saw us go out of the Europa League. My team failed to stand on their feet, and the players looked tense, and could not play with freedom. We have to get over this. Siofok were very cultured today, and played good football and they deserved the point."

"My team battled throughout and did everything that we had planned, so they deserve every praise for this. There were turning points in the game, and such chances, which we avoided luckily. Today's game, and the type of mentality and battle, gives us strength for what lies ahead. We will have to fight to stay up and remain in the division. Today's attitude showed that we have a realistic chance of doing that."
