Henning Berg: The most important thing is that we go through

Henning Berg shared his thoughts on Thursday's important first leg tie.

"My first impressions of the club are very good, the team and the players. I consider the attitude of the latter to be very good. Everyone is working to make sure they bring the best out of themselves. The aim of the club is big, and they would like to battle with Ferencvaros, who won the league and cup last season. Our aim is the league title and the Hungarian cup, as well as to do as well as we can in the Europa League. It is still not to be expected for the team to be in a 100% condition, which will only happen after a long run of results. Thursday's game will help us to see where we are at the moment. The team have carried out very good work over the last month. You can see that they all want to develop. There are still errors being made, which need to be corrected. We do not know too much about our Moldovan opponents. They finished last season in fourth place and also won the Moldovan cup. A new manager has taken over since then, and there have also been changes made to the squad. We have tried our best to look at our opponents, but it could be that the play a different system to last season. We are quite flexible and if we can show this, we will be capable of doing well. I am happy that both Roland Juhasz and Adam Lang experienced a great feeling at the European Championships. The whole country is rightly proud of them. They did very well to end up top of the group and make it into the last 16. They came up against a very strong Belgium side. The two international players have not yet linked up with the squad, but they will train with us on Saturday. I would not like to talk about the team's tactics or playing system. I want us to do well in both the home and away games. The best would be to win both games by playing well. The most important is for us to go through. We should not have a problem with this if the team performs to their capability. It was not secret that Lazovics did not play for the last six months due to an administrative problem. He is not yet in 100% condition as a result. It is important for us to have a type of player in the squad, who has played football at a higher level for several years. He is still very motivated despite being 33 years old. He would like to show that he is able to play good football at his age" - commented Henning Berg on Wednesday.
