We spoke to talented youngster Adam Gyurcso after he returned to Videoton following a loan period
Were you surprised to learn that you will not be starting pre-season with Kecskemet?
I will admit that I was surprised when I heard that the club wanted me to return, but at the same time, I saw it as a positive sign, and it also suggests that the Videoton coaching staff may have been satisfied with my performances, while on loan at KTE.
How would you sum up your performance over the autumn season?
I feel that I managed to blend in well in the first division, and I quickly managed to develop and pick up the tempo of first division football. I scored four goals in my first six games for them, and it is a pity that I could not keep up that record. However, I do not feel that I disappointed anyone.
Will Adam Gyurcso be scoring goals for Videoton over the coming spring season?
Yes, if it is down to me. I am pleased to have been given the chance to prove what I can do. I also know that I still have to work very much, to become a player for the championship winning side. I am also sure that there will be no problems when it comes to motivation. The Videoton coaching staff have already put together a personal training plan, which will help me train up until the 9th January. I will then travel off to Spain, with the first team squad, for a three week training camp. They are doing everything to make sure I adjust as quickly as I can to the first team squad.
