First friendly of 2020 against Swiss side Winterthur

The Vidi squad flew out to Spain last week to begin pre-season training. They play their first game of the year against Swiss second division side Winterthur on Friday.

The MOL Fehervar FC squad flew out to Malaga on Saturday evening. They then travelled the short distance to their hotel in Marbella. Joan Carrillo spent the first week holding several training sessions for his players. The training camp will include four friendly matches. The first of those will be played on Friday afternoon at 16:00pm.

Swiss second division side FC Winterthur are the opponents on Friday 10th January. Just like Vidi, they have won the Swiss championship three times in their history. However, the last of those was 112 years ago when they celebrated in 1917. They have not been in the first division since 1978. Their squad is valued at 7,2 million euros according to transfermarkt.de with Kosovan international Gjelbrim Taipi also at their club.

A full match report will appear here shortly after the final whistle.
