The two manager's spoke to the media following Wednesday evening's Hungarian cup match.
Ferenc Horváth: "The first forty five minutes was low key, but I feel it is a good thing that following a bad first half, we managed to change things. I feel that overall and based on the two legs, we deserved to go through. We won away in Szombathely, and created many chances in today's second half. It is true that we scored only once in the game, but the way we played in the second half was convincing. I told the players at half time that they had to change the tempo in the game or we would not go through. The team understood this as we were totally different in the second half."
Géza Mészöly: "We had more of the ball in the first half, but I told the players at half time to try and be sharper as that was missing from our game. We did not leave the dressing room at the break! Vidi had more chances over 5-6 minutes, but we did go forward after conceding a goal. In the end we could have even made it through to the next round. We did not manage that but it is still a positive aspect that we remained in the tie until the final minute. The first leg at home cost us as a 0-0 draw would have seen us through tonight. I still feel that the team played very classy and several of the players took the chance from the match. We are ready to do well over the final 5 games of the first half of the season."
