Ferenc Horvath: It was not a pretty win but the points were the most important

The two manager's shared their thoughts after the final whistle of Saturday's match.

Ferenc Horváth: "It is not always that the best looking women make the best lovers. Marilyn Monroe was not the best ever, but the men still adored her. I can say the same about the match. It was not a nice win, but the three points were the most important. We could have scored more goals at the end of the first half, while Vasas did not really open up in the second half. That made it hard to score any goals even though we had a lot of the possession. We went forward, but Vasas defended in numbers, and that was all the match had in store. We are now just three points from the top three, so we are moving slowly up the league table."

Antal Simon: "We missed an open goal right at the start of the match, and we could not have had a better chance. We got in behind their defence shortly after but we could not play the ball in to the last man. I feel that these two chances ended up influencing the game and the final result. Vidi then scored a goal from their first chance with a lovely shot from the outside of the boot and a second goal from a set piece. We tried to improve things in the second half with Konyves having a big chance. That would have made it 2-1 had he managed to convert it. However, even that did not go in and the game continued until the final whistle."
