Draw made for the Puskas Suzuki cup

Vidi's U17 side have been paired with Real Madrid and Ferencvaros

The draw for the U17 Puskas Suzuki cup tournament was made on Friday. The event, which kicks off on the 22nd April, has seen Videoton's U17 side come out of the hat with Spanish legends, Real Madrid, and fellow Hungarian side Ferencvaros. These three sides make up group A. The other group sees Honved up against Greek giants Panathinaikosz and Konstancai Hagi Academy, from Romania. Last season's tournament resulted in Honved's Magyar Football Academy, ending up with the top prize. They will be keen to defend that later on this month. The final, as has now become the tradition, will be held at the Sostoi stadium on Easter Monday. The draw on Friday was attended by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who is the founder of the Puskas Academy in Felcsut, western Hungary. Car manufacturer's Suzuki have sponsored the event since the very first one, back in 2007. Other participants at the press conference were Videoton's Honorary President, Ferenc Kovacs, former Real Madrid legend Emilio Butragueno and Puskas Acaemy director, Lorinc Meszaros.
