Debrecen away in the league this Sunday

Videoton make the journey east for the big clash with Debrecen on Sunday

Sunday 14th August 2011 - K.O.: 16:00pm
Debrecen - Videoton FC

Paulo Sousa and his Videoton squad take to the road this weekend, with a difficult game awaiting them at Debrecen. The fifth weekend of the OTP league involves a big clash with old rivals "Loki", their nickname. Debrecen have began the new season in good form, which included an opening day win at home to Vasas. They comfortably beat the Budapest side 5-2 to send out a warning message to the others. They followed that win up with another win away at ZTE, by a single goal. The reds then beat Ferencvaros in Debrecen to remain unbeaten in the league, before Sundays win at KTE, which was their fourth on the trot. It is interesting to note that both of their winning goals in the last two matches, have come from Adam Bodi free kicks. His goal against Ferencvaros came in the final minute of the first half, while the winner at KTE came in the last minute of the match.
