Comfortable friendly win over Sarosd

On Thursday afternoon we played in a behind closed doors friendly match against the Fejér county I. division, side Sárosd at the MOL Arena Sósto. Manager Imre Szabics chose the following side for what was the second pre-season friendly: Dala - Kojnok, Vágó, Lüftner, Zeke - Dárdai, Alef, Houri, Evandro - Bourard, Tóth. 

We didn't have to wait long for the first Vidi goals, in the 2nd minute Dárdai headed towards the goal from the right and from 14 meters, he curled the ball into the far corner (1-0). A minute later, after a bad sliding pass from Sárosd, the ball fell to Tamás Tóth who hit a powerfull left footed shot into the goal from the corner of the box (2-0). In the 5th minute, the scoreboard could have read 3-0, but Tóth's shot went wide from 10 metres out.

In the 14th minute, former Vidi talented youngster Sándor Kovács shot from 18 meters at goal, but Dala saved confidently. In the next minute Evandro found the net after cleverly slotting the ball into the bottom right corner from 10 metres (3-0). In the 18th minute, Bourard moved well as he cut in from the right and put the ball in front of goal, which bounced off one of the Sárosd defenders, Tamás Vida - for an own goal (4-0). In the 24th minute, Dárdai shot just wide from 24 yards, and shortly afterwards, a nice move saw Bourard's shot saved by the visitors' goalkeeper. Five minutes before the break, Evandro scored a fine goal from 20 metres (5-0), and three minutes later, the Brazilian crossed for Tóth Tamás who headed into the goal to make the score 6-0 at half-time. 

The following players ran out for the second half: Kovács D. - Horváth B., Dinnyés, Horváth Á., Kövesdi - Gulyás, Kovács I., Pinto, Petryak - Halmai, Kovács B.

Less than five minutes into the second period, Petryak sprinted down the right wing and his cross was converted into the net by Bence Kovács (7-0).

In the 60th minute, Halmai received a very good pass from István Kovács, but his 12-metre shot was saved well by the Sárosd goalkeeper. A few minutes later, Halmai threatened again, but this time the opponent's goalkeeper made another great save. In the 72nd minute, Petryak released István Kovács on the right wing, who gave a nice cross into the middle and Halmai did not miss this time (8-0).

In fact, just two minutes later, after a very nice Halmai - István Kovács - Halmai one-two, our young striker scored another goal (9-0), and in the 83rd minute he scored once more to make it (10-0).

But it wasn't over yet, in the last minutes Petryak scored from 14 meters into the bottom right corner (11-0), and just before the final whistle, István Kovács curled a ball into the far corner from 15 meters (12-0).

Our team scored nice goals and won confidently against Sárosd Kronos Sport 12-0.
