Akos Elek: We played in an above average match

The midfielder spoke shortly after Sunday's 2-1 defeat against Ferencvaros.

"We conceded two goals in periods of the game where I felt we were playing better than Fradi. When you dominate a game and then concede a goal out of nothing, it does affect the team. Sadly there is nothing to say to make things seem better. Our positioning for the first goal was amateurish even though we have practiced this so many times at set-pieces. I can comfortably say that we played in an above average match and I am sure the neutral supporters would have been entertained. At the same time it is a pity that we could not win the match played in a great atmosphere in front of so many supporters. It has been a while since we last had so many chances in front of goal as we did on Sunday against FTC. Perhaps the match away at Vaduz was the last time this happened. The only difference is that we did not deserve to draw in the game against Vaduz but I felt we were worth at least a point on Sunday" - commented Akos Elek.
