Adam Simon Blog: It was really good to play once again

"We had two training sessions on Saturday, and then played our first friendly match on Sunday afternoon against a Spanish side. The main aim in this match was to use the tactical elements that we had been practicing in training in recent days. We managed to generally do this over the 90 minutes. Our first friendly, which is usually the case, was a little bit sleepy, as we are only in the middle of the pre-season. The coaching staff will go over the errors in the game, so that these can be fixed in the next training session. We still have things to correct, but it was really good to play again!"
