The Vidi keeper helped the team to three points while keeping a clean sheet.
MOL Vidi FC came away from the home of Debrecen on Sunday evening with all three points after match 15 of the OTP League. Keeper Adam Kovacsik played an important role and kept a clean sheet.
"I felt good in this match, although it is true that I do not usually have so much to do than I did today. It was good to be tested from the beginning and I came out of it well. I had to make two or three big saves but nothing more. Overall it was a positive game and I did not let a goal in while we collected 3 points. A keeper cannot ask for anything more than this. Debrecen did not surprise us by the way they played. Last year when we won here 5-2, we knew that they would push their defence up. I felt that we had chances today but we could not convert them. I would not describe them as 100% chances and their keeper did not really have to make big saves. We were tight at the back today. The teams defending was extra and they gave their all and when they got through, I was there to help. It was good team work and an important three points" - commented keeper Adam Kovacsik.
