A tough training session is followed by a free afternoon

The seventh day of the Spanish training camp saw the players take part in a hard two hour session under the eyes of Joan Carrillo. A free afternoon followed with the players leaving the hotel for the first time since they were there.

Things went according to the usual routine until Friday lunch time. That included breakfast at 8:30, and a tough training session between 10-12pm. Physical and tactical elements were practiced during that training session. The players then headed off for their early afternoon customary treatments and massages. The team bus rolled out of the hotel at 16:00pm on route to nearby Marbella. The players remained there until 21:00pm. There were those who chose to stroll along the beach, while others headed for the shops. There were those who sat in a sea side cafe along the atmospheric strip. They had dinner together in a nice restaurant before climbing back on the bus and heading back to the hotel.

The players revealed that it was good to unwind a little before arriving back at the hotel. The trip allowed them to recharge themselves away from the hotel and training pitch. Two hard training sessions await the players on Saturday. The first friendly game will be played on Sunday afternoon.
