6th placed ZTE FC visit the MOL Arena Sóstó on Friday

Our team is still one hundred percent at home this season, while ZTE only lost away at the home of Kecskemét.

On Friday at 18:00 we will meet ZTE for the 88th time in the top flight. In the previous meetings, ZTE won 23 times and drew 24 times, with 40 wins for Fehérvár. The goal difference is 145-98 in our favour. The Zala side have only won five times against us in Székesfehérvár.

ZTE FC have played five away games so far this season, winning 1-0 at the home of Honvéd and 5-0 in Mezőkövesd. They also drew 1-1 at Újpest and Vasas, while their only away defeat so far has come at Kecskemét. There has been a significant player turnover in the summer transfer window (Nikola Serafimov and Norbert Szendrei, for example, "swapped clubs"). Among the newcomers, American striker Eduvie Ikoba, who played for Zalaegerszeg two years earlier, has already scored five goals in the 2022/2023 season.
